Runway Files: My favorite looks from Fall 2013

20 Jul

As are all gearing up to stock back up on our fall wardrobe, I thought I’d share a quick post for my favorite fall looks from Paris, Milan, New York, London fashion weeks. They are not in any particular order. Most of them were sooo fab that it was hard to rank them ;P

1. Burberry Prorsum – Definitely one of my fashion collections this year. Sharp, slick line with vibrant fall colors and shimmer – simply awesome!

2. Michael Kors – Nice as sleek designs – some with a nice futuristic touch too! Neon and jewel dresses gave an added appeal to the collection.

3. Christopher Kane – I’ll be honest, this is the collection that totally blew me away. Great experiments with a use of a variety of fabrics, took this collection to a totally different level.

5. Stella McCartney – Largely predominated by the blacks and the whites, the whole collection conveyed a strong style statement.

6. Valentino – Not much like a signature Valentino collection, yet very sober and feminine. Beautifully designed!

7. Givenchy – Strange and aggressive collection. I wasn’t a big fan of the assembles but the as individual pieces – there has been some great work done.

8. Christian Dior – Great designs but honestly, I still miss the John Galliano magic.

9. Miu Miu – Their collection simply carried the legacy forward. Signature polkas and stripes in various combos. Pretty and cute, nothing new though.
